Elections are held each Spring for the Student Leadership Council. To become a candidate for an elected position, students must meet the eligibility requirements listed below, complete an Application for Candidacy (not yet available for the 2018 election season) by the assigned fate, and participate in an interview.

Requirements:

Academic: The grade report of all potential candidates must reflect, at a minimum, a grade point average of 2.9 for the most recently completed semester and on the date of application submission, A potential candidate must also NOT currently b one academic integrity probation on the date of application submission.

Disciplinary: A potential candidate must NOT currently be on disciplinary probation on the date of application submission.

Service: Potential candidates who are currently in their Sophomore or Junior year on the date of application must have completed all required service hours for the prior school year. Potential candidates who are currently in their Freshman year on the date of application submission must have completed a minimum of eight (8) service hours during the prior semester.

February 6 – Candidate Application Forms Due

February 17 – President / Vice President Primary

March 2 – President / Vice President Election

March 31 – General Assembly Election

Interview Schedule:

February 6-10 – President / Vice President

February 13-28 – General Assembly
