Spirit event committees plan, coordinate, and implement all pep rallies, tailgate events, Spirit Week activities, and other spirit events during the school year. Ultimately, they are focused on enhancing the enthusiasm and support among the student body for school events and performances. Committees are typically comprised of a Senior Chairman, a Junior Officer, a Sophomore Officer, and one or more Representatives. Other non-voting, temporary members could also be appointed to serve on the committees. Although the Freshman class is not represented on the event committees, the other committee members solicit input from and collectively represent the interest of the Freshman class.
